Investment Criteria

We are looking to acquire or partner with small- and medium-sized
outpatient mental health clinics.

We are looking for clinics with all or most of the following characteristics:

  • Size & History

    - Revenue of $1M - $10M
    - At least five years of history
    - A strong reputation in the local market

  • Products & Services

    - Stable and healthy source of new client leads
    - Strong clinical culture, practices and policies
    - Diversified payor sources

  • Team

    - An established team excited to remain with the clinic long-term.

Our Team

Justin Oldroyd is a Co-Founder and Partner at Riverside Impact Capital. Justin has held roles in strategy, operations, and finance in both the private and non-profit sectors. He is most energized when helping values-aligned organizations and teams think strategically and achieve their highest potential. Most recently, Justin was Principal at TowerBrook Capital Partners, a purpose-driven private equity firm with more than $21B assets under management. At TowerBrook, Justin led the U.S. Portfolio Group, where he partnered with founders and executives to grow their businesses and solve their toughest challenges. It was at TowerBrook that Justin first developed the vision for Riverside Impact Capital. Outside of work, Justin enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three kids, traveling, and riding his mountain bike.

Michael is passionate about mental health and wellness and is driven by a desire to improve accessibility to evidence-based and human-centered care. Michael has been mission-driven throughout his career with a range of leadership roles in healthcare and international non-profit work. Michael has served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Aspiró Group, a behavioral healthcare organization with multiple sub-brands. Recognized as a leader in the industry, Michael has spoken at national conferences, client seminars, and on talk radio. After receiving an MBA from Yale, Michael worked as a consultant with The Chartis Group – Industry leader in healthcare management consulting. Prior to co-founding Riverside Impact Capital, Michael was serving as a strategic advisor to a global non-profit during which time he lead projects in over 30 countries with a 2 yr. leadership role stationed in Eastern Africa. Outside of work Michael enjoys yoga and meditation, spending time in the mountains, or reading a book.
